Promoting Therapeutic Riding

Only this year, a group called EFETA was started  - The Equine Assisted Education and Therapy Association. Quite a mouthful for a name, but the work this association does is invaluable to us Therapeutic Riding coaches who are only just starting out. This group promotes Therapeutic Riding as a professional service in Ireland, and it is in the process of developing standards for good practice and horse welfare. And if that wasn't enough yet, they also have a great website with lots of information - worthwhile checking it out:
