Stable Club

Our Stable Club runs during school term time every Wednesday and Friday afternoon between 4pm and 5.30pm.

Stable Club sessions have finished for the summer, we will re-start in September 2021!

The Stable Club is a child-centred interactive group (8 members maximum) for 8-12 year olds, with focus on afterschool activities which are recreational as well as therapeutic. This is an inclusive group and children of all ability levels are welcome.

The group focus is on:

~ Team work ~ Sharing ~ Social Learning ~ Communication ~
~ Friendship ~ Helping each other ~ Relaxing and having fun ~
Learning and growing together!

Our group promotes learning about horses and basic riding skills in a safe supportive environment, where children are supported to learn at their own pace. Children learn about safe handling of horses, leading a horse safely, do's and do not's around horses, horse behaviour, horse care and feeding as well as basic horseback riding. We use therapeutic riding activities and interactive games to promote confident on horseback.

Please contact us for more information and to book a place!

We welcome new members all year around at any stage throughout the term.
No riding experience required. Children can attend either both or just one session per week - booking necessary!

For more information, and to book, please contact Sandra on 087 9389867.
