Mid-term camp for 8-12 year olds
'All about horses'

Booking essential
€50 per day

Each day can be booked separately.

For all children who enjoy the company of horses
and outdoor activities!
 
Learn and practise all essential skills around horses and riding:
 horse care, feeding, horse health, riding equipment, basic riding skills
 
We will work as a team and help each other - beginners welcome!   
 
Everyone will get the chance to prepare for and participate in a small show at the end.

Small group (6 max.), supportive environment, experienced staff.

'Care Farm Camps'

Saturday 31st October 2020
10a.m. - 1p.m.


  • Inclusive group run by experienced tutor
  • Every ability level catered for
  • Especially suited for children with ASD, ADHD, Dyspraxia, GDD, Sensory Processing Difficulties, social/emotional needs etc.

Outdoor activities around the farm and the animals.

About our camps:

 Small group
in a calm, consistent and supportive learning environment.
 
Depending on the theme of the camp, we use interactive games, farm activities, gardening, nature exploration, horseback riding, arts and crafts to promote:


  • Communication and Social Interaction
  •  Following a schedule (now and then)
  • Turn taking and Rule based games
  • Developing empathy and expressing feelings appropriately
  • Relaxation and Emotional regulation
  • Imaginary play
  • Sensory processing
  • Growing confidence and self-esteem

Our camps aim to give children a fun time yet helping them to progress and learn - by tuning into the child's particular needs and pace of learning.
